Lene Lauridsen was appointed new Managing Director of Translation House of Scandinavia on 15 September 2008.
Lene Lauridsen, 44, has worked as a state-authorised translator (German) in Translation House of Scandinavia for the past ten years. She was soon appointed head of the German translation department, and seven years ago she was offered a partnership in the company. During the past couple of years, Lene has acted as Deputy Managing Director as well as being involved in HR and process optimisation and development.
New business areas“It is a great challenge and very exciting to be the head of Translation House of Scandinavia – not least because of all the new business areas we are currently focusing on. Many of our customers are, for example, showing a keen interest in the implementation of company-specific termbases, and we have the technology required to offer flexible, customised and reasonably priced solutions,” says Translation House of Scandinavia’s new Managing Director.
Translation House of Scandinavia has in recent years seen satisfactory and stable growth in revenue, thanks, among other things, to a number of large EU contracts.
The former managing director and the company’s principal shareholder, Kim Nepper Jensen, will remain a member of the Board of Directors.
